I created a proven strategy to scale your meta ad to $100,000 per month. I’ll show you how my student Baron was able to successfully implement my strategy to scale from $500 days up to $3,000 days within only 9 days.
Baron reached out to me on the 10th of December. I asked him what he thought would be his first goal in three months. He said he would like to see at least $50,000 in revenue each month. When I asked about his motivation for scaling his business, he mentioned wanting to live the entrepreneur lifestyle he had seen on YouTube. Spoiler alert: he was able to achieve that dream.
I asked Baron if this business was something he was doing on his own. He mentioned that his mom helps him with dropshipping. I offered Baron to have her join the meeting, and I was grateful that I did because I got to know his mother. She shared that she has two children and is currently putting some money into their business.
Baron started dropshipping four or five months ago but didn’t have a set system for testing products or strategies. He had run through at least 25 products and might have found a winner but didn’t know what to do with it. After testing one product for a week, he reported revenue of $2,286 after spending $1,000 on Facebook ads and $900 on costs of goods, leaving him with a profit of $379.
Baron initially tried different strategies but faced common scaling issues that novice e-commerce store owners struggle with. He mentioned being confused by various scaling strategies from different YouTubers, which led to mixed results. After learning more about his product and business, I was confident I could help him scale.
Three days later, on the 13th of December, we jumped straight into things. One of the most important campaigns for any e-commerce business is a retargeting campaign. We started by digging into that. The top campaign was retargeting website visitors and 75% video viewers. Baron was unsure whether to end it since it had only generated one add-to-cart action.
I asked about the break-even point on his product, which he bought for $43 and sold for $57, giving him a profit margin of roughly $14. I suggested leaving the retargeting campaign running longer and implementing exclusions for better targeting.
Nine days later, on the 22nd of December, just from following my strategy for retargeting, Baron reported significant improvements in his campaigns. One campaign had a return on ad spend (ROAS) of 27.94, indicating that the strategy was working well.
Baron then showed me two main campaigns generating most of his sales. He had successfully duplicated a winning ad several times but was unsure how to scale further or whether to cut underperforming ads.
After reviewing everything, I provided him with my phase one vertical scaling strategy: double the budget for any ad set with more than three purchases and then duplicate successful ads at higher budgets.
Baron implemented these strategies and experienced significant results. Six days later, on the 19th of December, he celebrated hitting his first $1,000 day and then another $1,000 day shortly after.
After our first call on the 13th of December, Baron managed to scale up significantly. By now, he was ready for phase four of scaling: creating lookalike audiences based on video views and engagement metrics.
We discussed how to set up lookalike audiences based on 95% video views and how to create them effectively in Facebook Ads Manager. Baron learned to test new interests and creatives regularly while keeping track of performance metrics.
Three days later, on the 22nd of December, I reconnected with Baron after he implemented everything I taught him. He successfully scaled up to his first $3,000 day! The results from the lookalike audiences were promising; most were performing well except for a couple that didn’t generate sales.
In summary, Baron’s journey illustrates how effective strategies can lead to rapid growth in e-commerce sales through structured scaling methods and targeted advertising techniques.
