Going to talk a bit about redirects. What is a redirect, and when should you use one? If you’re going to do content pruning, you must know how to do a 301 redirect. You don’t want to pull pages down and have 404 errors; in particular, if your pages have links pointing to them; you want to pass the power to the new page or the next most relevant page on your website.
